By that I mean picking a date that's earlier than what my options are on the system restore date menu.
Is this possible to perform?
Windows has a feature like system restore where you can restore your computer to an earlier state. System Restore is a feature of Microsoft's Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, but not Windows 2000, operating systems
that allows for the rolling back of system files, registry keys,
installed programs, etc., to a previous state in the event that is recorded in system restore of system
malfunction or failure.
You can restore incase your system got malfunctioned or either you have uninstalled some important application, where any software before uninstalling it creats a system check point in system restore.
In every windows opertaing system it is located in start menu - programs - Accessories - System tools - system restore.
Sometimes system restore cannot work in normal mode because of some virus, you can go to safe mode where you can perfectly resotre your system to a previous state.
