Right now I can't get into the computer but I am attempting a restore to get rid of it?

OK the restore let me get into the computer and it is working ok, but I am wondering if the virus is still there, I am running all of my virus scans and anti malware software. hope it will be fine. Well after the full scan I seem to be ok I am using the computer .so I hope everything will be ok

After system restore your system cannot be fully restored to the previous state as it shows restored successfully but some files cannot be restored like user created files or virus created files. After doing all this I faced several problems like getting the process done very slow and later it gone to previous state before the system restore point.

So I advise you to not to do system restore, better first install a good antivirus and scan the whole computer, then install a trojan remover and scan it and restore the windows policies...etc and restart the computer, if every thing is not fine you need to perform windows repair by inserting the boot disc.

You will find the options in the windows setup process so I would like this is the best restore process to the system files, where original files will be restored while installing.

If your system is infected dont do system restore and in most cases it fails and if done partially may be.

My dell laptop won't connect to my wireless Internet?

I got a dell laptop yesterday and I am trying to connect it to my wireless Internet so if someone can help me that would be great.

router reset wifi not connected

Once check whether the drivers are installed or not and you can go to device manager by right clicking on my computer, click manage and then check in the device manager whether is there ? marks are there or not.

If there the drivers or not installed, so I suggest you to download the drivers from the dell official website.

Make sure the router is turned on and once keep a open network so you will come to know whether the WiFi is working or not and after keep wps/wpa2 password to be secure so none other device can access.

If you have problem with the router you can hard reset the router, if not worked connect through LAN so you will come to know whether the problem of your laptop WiFi or LAN or the router's.

Once you have ever connected to Internet make sure you have good security software's like Avast, Norton and McAfee...etc because if you have a better security software you Laptop protected.

If I lose my graphics card installation driver disc can I install drivers online?

vga drivers google online

There are so many methods to get the drivers of your graphic card. First thing when ever you got your motherboard or graphic driver cd you need to get it back up or another written in another cd or you need to copy the entire folders of the cd to your hard disk drive not in c drive or OS drive.

If your friend or any other nephew purchased the same graphic card you can get the cd from them but please note here model number should be matched.

Another way is from the manufacturers website, go to the appropriate website and go to support then find the model and check your model and select the OS then download the drivers.

If you don't know the model or manufacturer, just enter the motherboard model in Google search download from the manufacturer website because other websites may contain viruses or trojans mainly exe files.

I have two laptops and one wireless connection but there is a problem?

i have an old laptop which I still use and I recently purchased a new laptop. both are connected to the same wireless network. But I am having a problem with the new laptop. When I am using my old laptop, the internet access bar at the bottom corner of the task bar shows full..All bars are filled and the signal strength is high. But when I switch off this laptop and open the new laptop, I have noticed that the signal strength is low and only two bars are full showing a weak network or limited connection. I can browse the internet on both laptops. Even when both laptops are on, the signal strength on the previous or old laptop is very high whereas on the new one it shows very low. My internet connection has high connectivity. I am not able to understand why this is happening . Can anyone tell me what's going wrong with my new laptop?

laptop WiFi signal low high

As your old laptop has good network controller where the new laptop doesn't have and check here the laptops specifications matter after checking you will notice the chipset used by your old and new laptops are different.

In my point of view your old laptop has the good network controller which spread the radio waves longer, which has high frequency whereas the new laptop doesn't have and there is specific difference in 802.11b/g/n, if these models differs the spread area.

One thing is check whether your new laptop got connected any other network which might be open network the signal of that network might be low so check the WiFi settings to which network you are connected to.

Might be your both laptops are not placed in the same area and if the area differ the signal strength also changes due to distance from the router and If you have smartphone place the two laptops and smart phone connect them to your router and you will come to know the exact difference

My computer keeps getting disconnected from router?

Just all of a sudden my computer disconnected from the router, and whenever it tried to reconnect it would just have limited access and would not have any internet access. I tried restoring my computer and nothing really happened. Right now I can connect to other internet connections fine, but when I try to join my regular router it just keeps connecting for a second then disconnects itself and keeps connecting and never works. I'm not sure if its the router's problem, as both my other computer and my phone can connect fine to the internet on my regular router

wifi lan network keeps disconnecting

Once check with the router settings because if your ISP is providing any dynamic IP or DNS assigned IP address the router automatically detects and assigns the certain IP to the connected devices and once check with the router before connections.

If the ISP providing the static IP address you need to enter the IP address, DNS, and gateway in the router settings it should be configured then only it allows the Internet to the connected devices.

One more option is that where the router has some qos services like where you can specify mac address you need to connect to Internet and check whether QOS is disabled or not. It disconnecting automatically which means the problem is associated with the router and hard reset the router, to configure the router follow the router manual.

May be your system is infected with the virus and clean the whole system with any security programme or the network drivers are not functioning properly

Computer screen turns black and white?

Hello, I have a hp 2000 notebook laptop and sometimes the laptop will stop working and the screen will turn black with white lines and now it has also started beeping, I have run Kaspersky to look for viruses, I restored the computer to a previous date, I have tried everything I know to do but it still does this, so if anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

desktop screen monitor

That might be the problem of the Hardware, it seems like the problem is related to RAM or the any other internal connection problem.

Is you do the software reset or restore and scanning the computer does it solves the problem and resinstalling the OS may fix the problem once check with the reinstallation.

After Reinstall if you are facing the same problem, you might need to contact the HP service centre and they will provide the solution for this. In my point of view the problem is related to the hardware, in most cases ram only.

If your laptop is out of warranty, you might take risk to change the RAM and check it, if you are through only do this otherwise contact the repair centre.

and automatically goes back with white lines does it occur at any specific of time after power on the system?

What kind of laptop is better to get, Inter or AMD?

I want a laptop for college. Laptops with Intel processors are good because of the processor but lack a good graphics card Laptops with AMD processors come with way better graphic cards but Intel is kinda faster Basically AMD A10 Vs Intel i3 Laptops. I'm going to be playing games most of the times on my laptop, i want something that can at least play BF 3 on medium. I only wanna spend around up to 430 dollars

Better go with AMD laptop because the AMD introduced APU's in the past so just because silently choose amd  they have better graphic card with inbuilt processors where you don't need to install the graphics card and when compared to Intel processors and performance the AMD APU's perform better.

If you are a hardcore gamer don't go for the Intel because really lack of graphics which I faced the problems alot while playing games and if in turn it is a desktop we can insert a PCI graphic card where we will have a chance to change the GPU but in laptop its not possible.

In past 7 years I heard that AMD laptops getting overheated so many people are not willing to buy AMD laptops and now there is no such type of heating in the processors the technology got improved alot and you can dare to buy a one.

But I assist you with the AMD laptop go for it.
