Im torn between two laptops and I'm not sure which one I should get.?

I actually just bought the ASUS K55A from best buy, but at the store I was very torn between this, and the HP ENVY m6. I'm not sure if I made the right choice for sure, and am considering exchanging the ASUS for the HP. Both seemed pretty even in most specs, trading maybe one off for another, but staying relatively even to an untrained eye like mine. I have always been a fan of HP and I really liked the look and feel of it, as opposed to the ASUS. It's not bad, but I think the HP is better, but I don't want to make a decision based on cosmetics. I decided to branch out and give a new brand a shot. I plan on using it for school, and some gaming. Did I make the right choice in going with the ASUS or should I just go make the exchange?

Your choice and your interests are on the HP, HP Envy is good both the laptop providers are giving the same processors, but Asus is providing the laptop with K55A which you can choose the processor of your choice and can get the high performanve processor you want and may HP also providing that but in other models I think. If you see in depth the Graphics card provided by Asus is HD 4000 express series here the HP is providing the Good one ATI Radeon HD 760M 2GB DDR3 it is a very good performance graphic card it supports many games which you can play as well.

If you are a hardcore gamer, go for the HP ENVY M6, beacause the performance and the graphics experience will be awesome in which so many users choose Envy. Here one thing is before buying any latest or the old laptop first check for the reviews and if you are interested to play only certain games, first check for the game specification and buy the laptop that's the worth of buying.

May if you use the laptop for the general use like watching movies, listening songs and just running small applications..etc. both are compatible.
