Am I safe from these Trojans?

I ran four different full scans with Malware bytes, Ad Aware, Avast, and Spy-bot. Ad Aware detected two Trojans and I immediately deleted them. Is my computer now safe from any potential threats or damage. I constantly run scans on my desktop and delete anything malicious that I come across. Am I in the clear?

You are already scanned with security software's, don't worry your PC is safe. But beware about Root kits they are known to be start the infection again, some are not detected by scanning. Need to download some Root kit software's like AVG Root kit... etc. Scan the whole system with those software's  One more thing is Trojan Remover is also good Anti trojan software. I especially use this software when my PC is infected with Trojans. It is a good software to remove Trojans, Not only removes Trojans It has many other features like managing start-up programmes.

But when your PC is connected to Internet, Better Install All in One Security or Internet Security. They have hall the features like Anti Root kit  Anti Spyware, Antivirus, Firewall...etc So the Internet Security Software's handles all types of infections. Trial Versions has Limited features so better don't install them, If you want to try or to check the performance Install the Trial version, After if you can afford buy the the Full version to enjoy all the features.

Some ad-ware websites automatically installs the tool bars  some kind of ad-ware software's...etc so beware. If you have Norton Internet Security it automatically scans all the installations and detects the threat. It gives you warning and How many people are using this. So you can come to know that whether the installations are mandatory or not?

Virus removal question?

I have this virus on my computer that occasionally redirects me to other sites, usually domainsa.com, but this virus only affects my Google Chrome browser. I've tried several different virus removal techniques and software (always trustworthy ones) but so far nothing has helped. Currently I just did a scan using PC Tools Spyware Doctor and it found several threats on my computer, but now I found out that while you can have your computer scanned for free, you have to have an actual account and pay to have them removed. No other program that I have used so far has actually found any threats, so I was wondering if there was some other way to delete the threats the program found than by paying for it.

Also, if anyone could possibly recommend any other ways to get rid of this annoying virus, that would be great. :)

First thing is uninstall the PC Tools Spyware doctor and restart your computer. After restarting go through the control panel - Add/Remove programmes, find the unnecessary programmes that installed on your system. Check them and uninstall them as soon as possible and also uninstall the Google chrome. If you have installed antivirus please uninstall that too. Restart your computer.

If you know that infected with virus or ad wares  malwares, I would like to suggest the free edition of avast antivirus or If you can afford buy Norton Internet Security Software's  It is an Excellent security software. But don't forget to remove the unnecessary programmes from the system. After Installing Antivirus perform a whole system scan of your computer.

Some ad wares programmes automatically installed from the adwrare sites, beware while opening of these sites. If you have installed Internet Security it alerts you that you about to visit a malwares site or ad ware site. So you can know what's happening?

My suggestion is don't install pc doctor or pc tools anti spyware or spyware removers. Install a good Internet Security software's for better performance of PC.

Free virus protection that works decently?

I'll probably end up buying some protection like condoms for my laptop but in the mean time I need something to make this itch go away haha alright but i need some type of virus protection do got any good suggestions.

If you can afford buy Internet Security Software's, because they have all the features like antirootkit, antimalware, anti trojan kit...etc. my suggestion is to install a internet security it covers all the features that related to detect threats.

If you want a free antivirus download the avast antivirus free edition, have a regular updates. I have installed this antivirus on my system it worked fine....not that much good. Better try it before buying.

Try Symantec's norton also, they dont provide any free versions security softwares but they provide trial they work in full fledge to detect threats, in the trial period. Good to have it it's worth. Try more security softwares like Mcafee, Trend Micro, Zone Alarm...etc.

But I have installed many antivirus programmes and Internet security softwares. Norton Internet Security which was good and excellent performance given theis security software. If you are not interested in Syamntec, try any other security softwares but install or buy the verion of Internet Security only.

Virus that deletes everything?

I have a virus on my PC that has deleted everything, all desktop icons and everything in the start menu, how do I fix it? I dont know how to access the internet on it to download software.

That type of viruses or trojans  may be dangerous, you might need to reinstall windows hat's better way to do.

Try to remove the virus in this way. press windows button + R you will get a run command window. Here type any dirve letter type for ex "E:", the drive window will open and in the address bar type google.com, in the search box type avast. Avast website opens download the free antivirus provided by them.

After installing once restart your computer, Update the virus definitions and disconnect the system from the internet. Run a full system scan, check the scanned results. If the problem persists you need to repair windows. If not booting format the C drive (do at your own risk) formatting the drive, you will loose the data. After installing dont install the drivers...etc, install the Internet Security software perform a Full system scan. After you will come to know the any threats are there in other Drives, If there, clean them once restart your computer, but dont forget to update virus definitions before scanning.

Have a healthy PC, Install the good Internet securities like Norton, If you can buy it......

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LAP TOP ???!!!!!?

Everything was working fine, untill I just came back and found my lap like this : my taskbar doesn't appear when I open the internet, and when I open a folder, I don't see the end the folder, isn't it supposed to stop at the beginning of the taskbar ? but I can see the rest of the folder behind the taskbar. one more thing, my touch pad should scroll up and down by just moving my finger forward and backward at the right edge of the pad but it stopped doing that, help please

I think the problem the Windows theme, Once try to change the theme by going to desktop properties. Right click on the desktop and go to properties, change the theme to windows default theme. That might fix the problem in a right way if not adjust your monitor settings in external using your graphic adapter properties.

May be the task bar in auto hide mode and go to properties of task bar and UN check the auto hide option, check for one more option like tick the option "keep the task bar on top of all windows". So here the task bar will on the top when you open any windows. If more help needed press F1 you will get the windows help.

And scrolling is also not working on your touch pad because the touch pad drivers may be corrupted or not installed. Once check the drivers in control panel and install them as well.

Once restart your laptop after all doing this.

I need help with getting a gaming laptop/desktop?

So I am really interested in playing ArmA 2 and DayZ and other such demanding games, but I have a really bad desktop, I also can only spend 500$ max for the new one, I would like to be able to run both at higher settings and still have it run smoothly, should I get a laptop or desktop? And if either does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any input:)

Get Desktop, You will get better gaming experience and reality, awesome. You can sit back and relax, very comfortable with desktop.

For both ArmA2 and DayZ you need medium configuration PC. As the both games runs on dual core processors but totally settings must be changed to low detail. If you want to play the Game with out struck and if you want to experience the Game play, you need to have these configurations

I recommend to take AMD Phenom II, as it is the old processor try for the AMD APU's they are awesome. I brought AMD APU A8 3870k which is excellent performing. So i Suggest to go with AMD and Radeon.

2 GB of RAM is recommended for these games to run in a smooth way and hard disk space about 7 GB.

If you can afford to buy the highend PC go for Core i7 black edition in Intel or AMD APU A10 black edition have medium end mother board I recommend ASUS, GIGABYTE. and RAM of 4GB.

Will this computer still run most programs in 4 years (2017)?

Will this computer still be relevant in four years?
ie. run most programs and games that are released in two years time:

1) Intel Core i7 2700K Sandy Bridge Desktop processor.
2) Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 Graphics Card.
3) 16 Gb DDR3 RAM
4) 120 gb Intel 520 SSD with 3 TB Hard disk space and Windows 7 home premium installed on SSD.

 

We cant guess that the PC with these specification will support the upcoming softwares in the future. Because my PC configuration is AMD Atholon 64, 512 mb ram, 750 gb harddisk. It lasted for 7 years. I brought in 2005. It's worked fine.

I think you may need to change the Grpahic card, because the upcoming games in the future will be not supported by GPU. You may need to change it, the rendering engine mostly depends on. Processor which you have is highend, which works excellent. Motherboards also plays a main role here. You didnot mentioned the motherboard details. Check for your motherboard specifications as well.

If you are an hardcore gamer, you need to check the Game requirements. Buy GPU after checking the specifications.

I just configuaring a new wifi modem but it just asking password for first time when I'm trying to connect my mobile why?

Modem's are used to convert the phone line into data line. Since they used widely in all countries, they are disappearing day by day, Routers came into existence. 

If you are installing the modem for the first time you need to refer router's manual first. First configure the modem in a way such that you can use it. Wifi modem is used to connect to internet through wireless.

Before Buying a modem check for the technical specifications like frequency speed in mhz and how long thus it spreads the waves, speed also matters here.

If you are connecting the modem for the first time, manufacturer of the modem will attach a username and password by default. May be mostly "Admin" & password is "password". Login using this credentials, if not worked refer your router manual.

Assign a WEP/WPA key for accessing Wifi, it is an easy way of maintaining the security. No one can access it. If you use the modem like open network any one can access it.

Make sure that maintain the security for your modem and internet aswell. dont share you passwords and usernames with anyone.

Why does my screen freeze all the time?

Everytime I play a game my screen freezes up on me what can I do to stop this.

You are playing game fine, your screen freezes at what time in the same period or if you are playing game, is that screen freezes same for same game or for different game.

Mention the problem clearly, if you playing a game that might not meet the system requirements of that game, the game strucks.

If the game meets the system requirements, you are playing and freezes at same time. There may be your system is infected with virus. Install a good internet security softwares to get rid of infections.

In old systems, if the processor overheats, screen also freezes in this way. Because the the heating is not in control by the processor, may the equipments of that CPU should be upgraded.

Try to install the same game on different computer, If you had installed if the screen freezes at same time. there may be problem in the installed game.
