How to make USB or Pendrive Bootable

Now a days, some PC's and Laptop's are not coming with DVD or CD writers, so they have the recover software's which were inbuilt with them, if not recovered, had a chance to install from USB or pen drive, many software's available in market to make them bootable.

As, we can make any usb bootable without using any software like bootable software's, we can create it on our own by following some methods :-

and need to have a power ISO software and a windows 7 image file, install power ISO and then mount the windows 7 and then follow the below :-

Open command Prompt and execute the below commands

"Diskpart"
"List disk"
"Select disk 1" (1 is the pen drive disk letter)
"Clean" press enter
"Clean" press enter
"Create partition primary" press enter
"Select partition 1" press enter
"Active" press enter
"Format fs=ntfs" or "format fs=ntfs quick" (here quick means formats the drive in a few second's) press enter
"Assign" press enter
"Exit" press enter.

The disk part window will be closed now.

Open command Prompt and execute the below commands

"F:" press enter (f is the cd drive letter)
"Cd boot" press enter
"Bootsect.exe /nt60 L:" press enter  (L is the pendrive drive letter)

and result should be like this :

and then the copy all the files from the windows 7 image, which you have mounted in drive using power iso,  that's it completed, now your usb drive is bootable.

Other process are like, using third party software's like wintofalsh.....etc, so many are there, it is the easy software which any one can easily understand.

Wintoflash (trial) can be downloaded from here

click on the wintoflash.exe, windows will open.

click on widows setup transfer wizard

in windows file path click browse, point the mounted image of windows OS here

and then usb drive click on browse point out the usb drive and then click ok

click next, the process will take about 15mins (depending on your system speed)

after completing you will get a message, that's it is bootable now.
